We verify your identity to comply with Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements and to detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, money laundering, and other illegal activities.

Legal and regulatory compliance

We process information to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), AML regulations, and reporting obligations to regulators and law enforcement.

We use contact information to send transactional notifications, service updates, security alerts, and — where you have opted in — marketing communications.

Aggregated and anonymized usage data helps us understand how our platform is used, identify trends, and make product decisions.

Sharing

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

Banking partner

We share necessary information with Grasshopper Bank, N.A. to provide banking services, comply with KYC/AML requirements, and process transactions on your behalf.

Service providers

We engage vetted third-party vendors (e.g., identity verification, fraud detection, cloud infrastructure) who process data only on our behalf and under strict data processing agreements.

Legal obligations

We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or government authority, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, property, or safety.

Business transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, with notice provided as required by law.

With your consent

We may share information for other purposes with your explicit consent.

Your Right to Opt Out — Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (Regulation P)

Federal law gives you the right to limit some, but not all, sharing of your personal financial information with non-affiliated third parties. Specifically, you may opt out of sharing your information with non-affiliated companies for their own marketing purposes. We do not currently share your information for this purpose, but you retain the right to opt out at any time.

We do not share your information with non-affiliated third parties for joint marketing or their own product/service marketing. We share only as described above: with our banking partner, service providers acting on our behalf, and as required by law.

To opt out of any permissible sharing, or to ask questions about how your information is shared, contact us at support@skyfichecking.com. Federal law does not require us to provide a separate annual privacy notice if our practices have not changed and we do not share beyond what is permitted without opt-out rights; however, we remain committed to transparency.
